Designed by our specialist team for both people who work with children and the general population, our e-learning courses will give you the skills needed to keep kids under your care safe, supported and loved.

  • This module provides a detailed exploration of the dynamics around child sexual abuse. Participants learn how to:

    • Recognise a range of behaviours involved in child sexual abuse such as grooming, online and in person situations

    • Understand the indicators and impacts of child sexual abuse using case studies involving different age groups

    • Respond in a supportive manner to disclosures and what to consider when reporting concerns to child protection authorities.

  • This module focuses on the complex factors associated with child neglect. Participants learn how to:

    • Recognise the different forms of neglect and how these might impact on children’s emotional, physical and social development at different stages of their childhood

    • Understand how vulnerable populations may be more susceptible to child neglect

    • Consider the intersectionality of risk factors (using case study vignettes).

  • This module examines the issue of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) from both the child and adult perspective, including the many various forms of abuse. Participants learn how to:

    • Recognise the impacts and indicators of DFV (utilising the cycle of violence framework)

    • Understand the complexities faced by vulnerable populations

    • Respond to disclosures or concerns in safe and compassionate manner.

  • This course teaches staff how to address risk concerns for children that do not receive child protection services. This includes how to make appropriate referrals and things to consider when engaging support services within their organisation and broader community.

  • This course is designed to provide an introduction to trauma in childhood and its effects on development, as well as reparative care experiences. You will learn about indicators of trauma, and positive factors to support improved outcomes for children with trauma histories, including reparative care experiences.

    You will also learn how to report suspected abuse and how to respond to disclosures in a compassionate and supportive manner.

  • This course is designed to provide an introduction to the protective behaviours that we can teach to children so they have the body safety skills needed to prevent abuse and stay safe.
